Invisible Kitties Intro!

Since graduating, I’ve been in a bit of an animation slump. Partly from having no deadlines to work to, and partly from working full time. So lately I’ve been reading a new book that my sister bought for me, called Invisible Kitties. And I love it. The cat is called cat. The husband is called husband. That's it, just hey this is what not having a cat was like and this is what having a cat is like. But it’s a beautiful exploration of appreciating the small things, and unsurprisingly, cats in all their weird and adorable glory. And I think this makes it the perfect subject for a fun, short animation project.

So I am setting myself a mission and this blog post is to speak it into existence and hold myself accountable. I’m going to make an animation inspired by Invisible Kitties. I'll be treating this little series as my sketchbook, so feel free to visit and follow my process. I'll be back soon for my first update.
